Your account
Open Account in the sidebar, or choose Account in the menu under your name. The page applies to your Entrosity account in every product.
Profile
Your E-mail is shown here; change it under E-mail. Change your Name and choose Save. Products show the new name after their next sync (about a minute in Axis).
E-mail
You sign in with your e-mail address. To change it:
- Under E-mail, enter the New e-mail and your Current password, and choose Change e-mail.
- We sent a confirmation link to …: open the e-mail Confirm your new Entrosity e-mail at the new address and choose Confirm the new address.
- On the page that opens, choose Confirm new e-mail. E-mail changed: you are signed out everywhere, in the Hub and in every product. Sign in with the new address.
Nothing changes until the link is opened. The link works once and for 24 hours; asking again makes the earlier link stop working. The old address gets Your Entrosity e-mail was changed, so you notice if someone else changed it. Products show the new address after their next sync (about a minute).
The new address must be a valid e-mail address, differ from the current one, and not belong to another account (is already in use, also when it was taken after the link was sent). Invitations sent to the old address stay as they are. Requests are limited like sign-ins.
Password
Under Password, enter the Current password, then the New password and Repeat new password, and choose Change password.
- The new password must be 12 to 256 characters long, must not be a well-known password or your e-mail address, and must differ from the current one.
- This browser stays signed in. Every other session is signed out, in the Hub and in every product.
Forgot your current password? Sign out and use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page (Signing in).
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication (TOTP) asks for a code from an authenticator app after your password.
Turn it on
- Under Two-factor authentication, choose Set up authenticator app.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, Google Authenticator, …). If you cannot scan it, enter the key shown under the code by hand.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app and choose Verify and enable.
- You get 10 recovery codes. Store them somewhere safe: they are not shown again. Choose I saved them.
Each recovery code works once, in place of an app code, when you sign in without your phone (Recovery codes). Your current sessions stay signed in.
There is no way to get new recovery codes while two-factor authentication stays on. To get a fresh set, turn it off and set it up again (not possible while an organization requires it).
Turn it off
Enter your password under Confirm with your password to turn it off and choose Disable two-factor authentication.
You cannot turn it off while an organization you belong to requires it. The card then says On. Your organization requires it, so it cannot be turned off.
Organizations that require two-factor authentication
A platform admin can set an organization to require two-factor authentication. If you belong to such an organization (and it is not suspended) and have not set up two-factor authentication:
- every Hub page shows a notice that links to Account;
- signing in takes you to Account instead of a product;
- every product refuses to open, for all your organizations, until you set it up. You can still use the Hub itself.
Set it up as described above; products open at once afterwards.
Sessions
Sessions lists the browsers where you are signed in: Browser, IP address, when you Signed in and when the session was Last used. The browser you are using is marked This session.
Choose Sign out on a row to end that session. It ends within about a minute, in the Hub and in every product. To end the session in this browser, use Sign out in the menu under your name.
An administrator can also sign you out everywhere (Platform administration).
