Onboarding a customer
A new customer goes through these steps in order. Each step has its own page with the details.
You need the tenant admin role for steps 1–6.
1. Sign in and secure your account
- Open the invitation e-mail from Entrosity Hub, create your account (or sign in with an existing one) and accept (Signing in).
- On the Hub's Account page, set up two-factor authentication and keep the recovery codes (Your account on the Hub).
- Open Entrosity Axis for the customer from the Hub's product list.
2. Create sites
Under Sites, add a site for each location and set its time zone (maintenance windows use it).
→ Sites
3. Install the site connector (sites with Active Directory)
Under Active Directory, download the connector for the site and install it on one domain-joined server with the command shown.
4. Connect Active Directory
Create an AD sync configuration: domain controller, TLS, a read-only bind account, base DN and OU filters. Test connection, then Sync now.
5a. Push the agent to AD computers
Set a push account on the configuration, then select computers under AD computers and choose Push agent. Optionally turn on auto-push for new computers.
→ Active Directory → Push the agent
5b. Or install the agent without AD
Create an agent enrollment token under Agent enrollment and install the MSI with it (manually, by GPO, Intune or any software distribution).
6. Add packages
Under Packages → New package, add the software the customer needs: search winget, or upload an MSI, EXE or PowerShell script.
→ Packages
7. Run the first deployment
Under Deployments → New deployment, pick a package, the devices, a schedule and a reboot policy, and follow the progress live.
8. Tune alerts and invite colleagues
- Check the alert rules and switch off global rules that do not fit.
- Invite technicians and viewers on the Hub (Manage members in the menu under your name; Organization members, Roles).
- When the roll-out is done, revoke the enrollment tokens you no longer need.
