Quick start

This page is the checklist. Every step links to the page that explains it.

1. Have a server​

  • Production: Entrosity's installation is at https://hub.entrosity.com (Axis at https://hub.entrosity.com/axis).
  • Your own: follow Installation, then create the first admin on Entrosity Hub with platform-server bootstrap-admin.
  • A laptop: follow Development setup ("First run").

2. Create a tenant (platform admin)​

  1. Sign in on Entrosity Hub as a platform admin (a global admin in Axis).
  2. Create an organization for the customer with Entrosity Axis enabled, and invite its first admin with the Axis role Tenant admin. The organization appears in Axis as a tenant within a minute.

3. Set up the tenant (tenant admin)​

  1. Accept the invitation on the Hub, choose a password, set up two-factor authentication (Signing in), and open Entrosity Axis from the product list.
  2. Create a site for each location (Sites).
  3. Invite colleagues on the Hub (Organization members, Roles).

4. Get agents onto devices​

Pick one:

  • Without Active Directory: create an agent enrollment token and install the MSI on each PC: 
    msiexec /i rmm-agent.msi /qn ENROLLMENT_TOKEN=<token> SERVER_URL=https://hub.entrosity.com/axis

  • With Active Directory: install the site connector on a domain-joined server, connect AD, sync, and push the agent to the computers.

Devices show up as online under Devices within a minute.
